One thing that I promised to do is share my blogging journey, my failures and successes and everything in between. Well, I have been blogging for about 2 months now and I feel that it is time to finally share some of my struggles and how I overcame them.
Well, where do I start? First off, blogging is hard work! I had heard this statement from many other bloggers that I follow, however, I didn’t realize how much harder it was going to be for me.
My Greatest Struggle
When I began my blog 2 months ago, I didn’t realize how un-techie I really was when it came to blogging. When it comes to technology, I felt that I was pretty knowledgeable in computers, computer programs, and using the internet. However, when it comes to creating a blog that was a different story.
I really had no clue on how to use WordPress, how to set up hosting, what a theme was and how to choose one, or even how to set up my email account that was linked to my blog. I felt pretty dumb and overwhelmed.
Now there is a ton of free information on the internet that can help you set up a blog. Believe me, I spent hours researching and I was determined to figure it out on my own.
My plan was to get my blog up and running before I had to go back to work at the end of the summer. However, I came to the realization that I was spending more time researching and gathering information than actually working on my blog. Overwhelmed with all the information available, I wondered if this blogging thing was really something that I could do. I felt like I was chasing rabbits, wasting time, and getting nowhere with my blog.
I knew I needed more than just the free tutorials on how to start a blog. So I finally broke down and bought my first blogging course, and I am so glad that I did.

I have to admit that the number one reason I chose this course at first was because of the price. If you haven’t noticed already, blogging courses can be pretty pricey!
After looking at what was being offered in the course, I felt that this course was a good investment. I was tired and overwhelmed of trying to figure this blogging thing out all by myself.
