Thank you for visiting Bringing Back the Peace.
You may be wondering what Bringing Back the Peace is all about. Well, we all seem to be living busy lives that seem to be getting busier by the minute. Our peace is often overtaken by the stresses of life. These peace robbers include what needs to be done around the house, how to get out of debt, how to save money, what to cook for dinner, how to raise our kids …… and the list goes on and on. We are overwhelmed by the many hats we wear and the many responsibilities that we must take care of. Bringing Back the Peace is a place where ideas and inspiration are shared in the hopes of encouraging women to find peace in everyday living.
My name is Danielle. I am a wife, mother, teacher, and child of God. Some of my favorite things are gardening, cooking, reading, and bargain-shopping. My goals for this blog are to share resources and ideas that can help busy moms save time, money, and their sanity. I will also share my experiences with starting a blog. Hopefully, my failures and successes will help others who are on these same journeys.
A Little More About Me
I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 23 years. He is my best friend and greatest supporter. I also have two wonderful boys. My oldest son is quiet, easy-going, a boy of few words, and good-hearted. Oh, and by the way, he is also married to a wonderful woman who I love dearly. She really is the daughter that I always wanted. She truly blesses our family in so many ways. With that being said, I should be starting the empty-nester stage of my life. However, God had other plans for me. He blessed me with my youngest son, who is now nine years old. He is outgoing, outspoken, witty, and my little love bug. My children mean the world to me and are my greatest treasures.
I am also a 5th grade teacher. I have been teaching kids for 15 years. Although teaching is a rewarding career, it is also A LOT of work. I have now taken a leap of faith and started a blog. Blogging has revealed to me that I am not as tech savvy as I thought, and I have a lot to learn. As in teaching, blogging is also A LOT of work too, but so far I am loving it and can’t wait to see what the future brings. Maybe one day, I can become a full-time blogger. If you are interested in blogging, I hope you follow my journey as I share tips, failures, and successes.
Most importantly, I am a follower of Jesus Christ and owe everything to him. I am humbled and amazed by his love, mercy, and grace that he shows me every day.
Thank you again for visiting! I hope you learn something new or are inspired by what you read. Let’s support one another in this journey of life and find ways to bring back the peace.
